Hot Tip: Learn Anything Fast

Build interactive visualizations

Hi There,

Welcome to hot tips!

If you’re not aware, hot tips are short versions of the newsletter where I share quick bites related or unrelated to sales.

They’re meant to make your life better in 5 minutes or less.

So start the clock!

In today’s newsletter we’ll discuss how to use AI to create interactive visualizations for any topic you’re trying to learn in less than 10 minutes.

For this, we will use Claude 3.7 by Anthropic.

Anthropic is a competitor to OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT.

They recently released an updated version of their AI model called Claude Sonet 3.7.

And it is scary good at coding!

But I don’t code or know anything about computers, how can I use this?

The nice thing about this new wave of AI models is you don’t need to know how to code.

You can just write what you want and Claude will code it for you.

A way you can use this is to help you understand complex topics to fill your curiosity or aid in whatever you’re studying at the moment.

Richard Feynman, a renowned physicist known for his ability to learn and solve complex mathematical problems with ease said:

“What I cannot create I do not understand”

Well, now that you can create anything; you can understand everything.

Ok, so how do I create anything?

Here’s the prompt I’ve been using to create these visual representations:

“I am trying to learn {subject} but I’m having trouble understanding it. Can you code me an interactive game for me to understand it better?”

Here’s an example of a fun, interactive representation I made for learning how rockets work for the purpose of this email.

The goal of the game is to reach orbit.

You select the parts and you can read about the science of rockets.

Only one combination will reach orbit.

See if you can figure out what combination is right.

For the game above, I didn’t write a single line of code.

I just gave it this prompt:

“I am a mechanical engineering student in college, but I'm having issues understanding how rocket propulsion works and the different parts of the rocket. Can you code an interactive game where we assemble a rocket and launch it into orbit to better understand how rockets work?”

I also added some more instructions on how I wanted it to look.

Once I hit enter, Claude got to coding

You can visualize what it’s building in real-time in the right side panel and then use it in the same place.

The whole thing took about 10 minutes.

Pretty cool right?

Yes, but how do I use it?

What topics will you learn?
